David H. Schuld Bio
Dr. Schuld graduated from California State University, Fullerton, with a
Bachelors of Science in Health and Physical Education, with an emphasis in
Athletic Training. He then received a Master of Arts in Health and
Physical Education from Rowan University. His emphasis was in exercise
physiology.
His thesis was on “The Effects of a Circuit Weight Training Program on Power in Male High School Basketball Athletes”. He completed a Master of Physical Therapy degree from UMDNJ and Rutgers University in 2001. While there he received an outstanding student grant. His project was on Ethics and Reimbursement in Physical Therapy. He recently completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy at UMDNJ in 2006.
He has been a Certified Athletic Trainer since 1986 and a Strength and Conditioning Specialist since 1992. Dr. Schuld has worked with athletes at all levels.
Since his fathers diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease he has also taken a special interest in treating Neurological disorders.
He also serves as an adjunct assistant professor as UMDNJ/Rutgers University DPT program since 2002.
He is an avid hiker, skier and loves the outdoors.
